Sugar Reset's label discloses one specific ingredient amount: 0.7 micrograms (mcg) of Chromium Picolinate per serving. The label itself lists this as 2% of the daily value for chromium.
The commonly cited adult daily reference intake for chromium is around 35mcg. Standalone chromium picolinate supplements typically use doses in the range of 50 to 200mcg per serving — considerably higher than 0.7mcg. At 2% daily value, Sugar Reset's chromium content is a small fraction of what a dedicated chromium supplement would provide.
We can think of a few possible explanations: chromium may be included here more as a formulaic nod to the mineral's association with glucose metabolism than as the formula's primary active ingredient, with the real work (if any) coming from elsewhere in the 200mg blend. It's also possible this reflects standard practice for liquid formulations, where very small volumes limit how much of any single mineral can be included without affecting taste or stability.
